Our History

In 1995 when Charlie Rotenberry and his brother David Rotenberry decided to take their skills acquired in top management positions in dealerships located in California and Louisiana, they both had a vision. We will give the Dealer a unique way of capturing a potential buyers attention outside the mainstream medias, referred to by Charlie Rotenberry as the "Bad News Media".

Having come from a strong background in marketing Real Estate, Home Building, and Subdivision Development in the early 1970s through the mid 1980s. Charlie Rotenberry worked in both Sales and Finance Management in a few large dealerships in California and later in Louisiana. It did not take him long to realize that the industry needed a fresh new approach to the traditional "Come On Down" / "Lost Leader" type screamer advertising that seemed to dominate dealerships from coast to coast.

After a lot of brainstorming, the Rotenberry brothers started a creative process that to this day remains one of the most affective and track able way to help dealerships achieve their sales and profitability goals. Striving to stay ahead of the competition and having a real aversion to being lumped into the category Direct Mail, Scientific Marketing's Computerized Target Marketing Programs are continually testing new and innovative ideas.
